About Amy
I’ve been a realtor since 2003 when I transitioned from my prior profession in wine sales and marketing. My extensive experience in customer service based industries ingrained in me skills that are essential for success. I’m an attentive listener and perpetual list maker. I’m naturally curious, observant, and persistent. I’m consistently one of the top producers at my brokerage, and I enjoy applying my experience to guide my clients through an ever-changing market.
I’ve attended hundreds (and hundreds) of inspections and have seen a LOT, which helps me quickly assess potential issues and suggest professionals for the right course of action. As a homeowner, I’ve tackled many of my own remodeling projects, and as a realtor, I’ve been involved in dozens more. I know that not everyone wants to be a designer or contractor, so I keep an extensive list of top-flight professionals at the ready, from electricians and repair people to stagers and movers.
I’m passionate about maintaining a sterling code of conduct, and I’ve been on our MLS’s ethics and professional standards committee for years.
I grew up in Northern Minnesota, where my mom still maintains a stunning half-acre vegetable garden. In comparison, my edible garden is “charming” (Realtor speak for modest). Between the garden, cooking, and keeping a few chickens, my hands are never idle. Yes, I make sourdough and I ferment—I am that person.
I’m also one of those obnoxiously happy morning people that pop out of bed, ready to seize the day. I love an early morning hike and know all the trails and get out on them every chance I get. I’m always amazed at how far a good pair of shoes can take you, and when my husband and I vacation, it always includes hiking.
I met my husband when we were both in the wine business. Fortunately for us both, he still works in that industry, so our cellar stays amply stocked. If you invite us to dinner, ask us to bring wine!
